Ngatea Ditching Plastic Bags

Ngatea is planning to ditch plastic bags. “I would like to see Ngatea as the first town
in New Zealand to be plastic bag free.” Quoted Judy Jamieson. Mrs. Jamieson is the
founder of the boomerang bags. In her spare time, she sits at home and makes the bags.
By July 7th Ngatea Four Square will not be selling plastic bags. They will only be
offering reusable bags, boomerang bags and boxes. Also on July 7th, there will be a
sewing bee at the old garden centre next to the Four Square.

I think it is a good idea because some people just use the plastic bags once and throw
them out. Most plastic bags are only used for 12 minutes but it takes them 100 years
to break down.

New Zealand Aims Games 2018

I have qualified for the New Zealand Aims Games 2018. I have only got in for two races so far, the 50 and 100 breaststroke. Am am going to try and get a couple more time at an upcoming meet. The games will be the biggest National meet I have gone to so far.

Three Places I Would like to Visit

Place:
Why?
What?
Image:
Tahiti, French Polynesia
I would like to stay in a house suspended above the clear water. I would go snorkeling and lay on the beach, try some fresh mango and grapefruit.
I would go to Place Vai’ete and get some food from the food trucks. I would visit Faarumai Waterfall.
Phuket, Thailand
To experience the culture and see the monks. Go caving the the limestone caves.
I would go to Karon and visit Wat Suwan Khirikhet, a buddhist temple. I would go to the temple market that is hosted twice a week.
Bali, Indonesia
To try the local food and experience the amazing sunsets.
I would visit the Pura Besakih, the biggest temple in Bali. I would do the Safari and Marine Park tour.
